Creating the voice of Qliro
Alongside the new Qliro experience project, I took on the challenge of defining Qliro’s voice and tone and applied it across the entire user experience. To ensure that consistency would continue, I also created a content style guide for the company.

I really fought for this project. With a tight deadline, I had to convince stakeholders that we needed time for documentation, but I made my voice heard!
Qliro’s personality was already established, so I was able to build on those insights. I organized workshops to explore which qualities we should communicate through voice and which ones should come through visually. Since I simultaneously was working hands- on with the writing I could experiment by writing the same copy in different tones. I used these variations during additional workshops to gather internal feedback and refine what Qliro’s voice should truly sound like.
In the end, we landed on a tone that’s friendly and personal, with just enough boldness to keep that techy edge.
